Aside from being a homeopath and a mum I also enjoy music of all sorts.  The radio is always on in the morning to get me going.  I have played the tenor horn for over 20 years and currently with a local brass band.

Another interest which I've recently rekindled is reading – I enjoy the escapism.

Food is important to me and I enjoy trying out new recipes and baking treats for the family.

Although I've been aware of homeopathy most of my life it wasn't my first career choice. After leaving school I spent some time studying law and worked in firms in London and more locally.  After having children life changed tack and career took a back seat around my family.

As the children grew I decided it was time to look at a new challenge for me to take on and that was when I took the decision to study homeopathy.  I studied at Allen College of Homoepathy whose principal is the highly respected

Dr S K Banerjea.

It took 4 years of study to qualify but is one of the most fascinating and rewarding things I've done so far.

My children are often given homeopathic medicines to help with various minor ailments such as coughs and colds.  They have said “don't take homeopathy as it gets you better quickly so you can go back to school!"

I love the safe, gentle and effective way that homeopathy works on all ages and with no side effects.

Hi! I'm Carolyn.  I live in Hockley, Essex.  I grew up in Leigh-on-Sea and have lived in this corner of Essex for all my life.

I'm married and have two children.  I've been married to Barry for 20 years.  Our teenage son is into graphic design, music and his Xbox.  Our tween-age daughter loves to dance (ballroom and latin) as well as anything creative.
